Description:
Formally the Butterfly Fund 5k, The Children's Hospital Butterfly Run is an exciting event created between the Butterfly Fund family and East Tennessee Children’s Hospital. This event begins and ends at World’s Fair Park and incorporates a route that includes the Ft. Sanders neighborhood and runs by cheering patients at East Tennessee Children’s Hospital before returning to World’s Fair Park. 10k participants will turn on 22nd street by ETCH and get on Cumberland to take the greenway around Tyson Park and Third Creek Greenway to Neyland drive and back up to World's Fair Parl. Start times for the 5k and 10k will be staggered to minimize congestion at the start line and along the course.
The 10k race will begin at 8:30 a.m.
The 5k race will begin at 8:45 a.m.
The fun walk will take place following the 5k start.
