"Run Anywhere" (virtual event) - Run 8 miles or 2 miles any time October 1-28, 2023, and submit your results.

DESCRIPTION:

RACE DAY ACTIVITIES:
2023 RACE DATE 10/28/23 and 2023 Schedule below
7:00-8:00 AM Eastern Time - race day registration & packet pickup (no early packet pickup date)
8:30 AM - 8 mile start, 2023 course closes at 10:30 AM (2 hours)
8:40 AM - 2 mile start
9:25/9:30 AM - 2 mile awards
10:35 AM - 8 mile awards

AWARDS (for the traditional event):
8-Miler Awards:  Top 3 M/F Overall Finisher, Top M/F Master, Grandmaster, and Veteran Finisher. Awards Three Deep to M/F finishers in Age Group 1-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+ (overall winners not eligible). Participation medals for all 8 mile finishers.  Fastest 8-Miler team award plaque (requires 4 members).   For the 2023 Race:  8-Miler course closes at two hours.

2-Miler Awards: Top 3 M/F Overall Finisher. Participation medals for all finishers.  Fastest 2-Miler team award plaque (requires 4 members).

Team with most participants award plaque (8-Miler and 2-Miler combined).  2-Miler walkers are welcome!  The 8-Miler course is not walker-friendly due to one good size hill, roads being open to traffic, and not having a road shoulder or sidewalk.  The 8-Miler course closes at 2 hours in 2023.  If you want to walk, we would love for you to walk in the 2-Miler!

2 Mile:by October 15, 2023 $25 Adults/$20 Children under age of 19  | after October 15, 2023 $30 Adults/$20 Children  |  Day of Race $35 Adults/$25 Children

Virtual 8 Mile:  $35 Adults/$30 Children under age of 19.  Includes the cost of mailing T-shirt and finisher medal. Run 8 miles on any course Oct. 1- Oct. 28, 2023 and submit your time.

Virtual 2 Mile:  $30 Adults/$25 Children under age of 19.  Includes the cost of mailing T-shirt and finisher medal. Run 2 miles on any course Oct. 1- Oct. 28, 2023 and submit your time.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE:
Chip Timed Bib (traditional race)
Event T-shirt* - Cotton blend short sleeve. No T-Shirt Option Deduct $3.00. Adult XXL Add $2.00, Adult XXXL Add $3.00.
*Everyone registered by October 1st will be guaranteed a race shirt.  Everyone registering after this date will be provided a shirt and based on remaining supplies and sizes.  We do not plan to reorder shirts in 2023.  In that case, if certain sizes are out of stock, participants who register in late October might see some sizes as "Sold Out." 

PACKET PICKUP:
T-shirt will be available on race morning on-site from 7:00-8:00 AM.  Virtual participants' items will be shipped in the weeks following the race.

RACE ETIQUETTE:
Roads along the running route will still be open to traffic with major intersections being monitored by law enforcement.  For safety, roller blades, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course; headphones are discouraged.  Strollers start behind runners and walkers in the two mile only; RRCA strongly discourages strollers in events that exceed 5K.
