Location: Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson 1820 W. Lamar Alexander Parkway, Maryville, TN 37801
Course Description: Paved Road – Flat & Fast
Registration Fee: Pre-register by September 28, 2012 fee is $25. Register after September 28th fee is $30. Active Military $20 with ID. Includes a meal for participants. Online registration at http://www.runnerreg.net/register/?event=11736T-Shirts: All pre-registered runners will receive a high quality tech t-shirt on race day. All others while supplies last.
Awards: Awards will be given to top 3 overall finishers (male/female), top male/female Master finisher (40+), top male/female Grandmaster finisher (50+), top male/female veteran finisher (60+)and top three male/female finishers in each age group-15 and under, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over. Award to team in each category with most team members.
Course Etiquette: No roller blades, bicycles or dogs allowed on course. Persons with baby strollers will start last.

This event is to honor the memory of Channon Gail Christian. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Channon Christian Memorial Scholarship Fund. Event hosted by Smoky Mountain Harley Davidson.
The Channon Christian Foundation is a non-profit foundation organized under the 501-c3 guidelines of the Internal Revenue Service. The foundation was formed to honor the memory of Channon Gail Christian whose life was cut much too short in January 2007.
Channon attended the University of Tennessee Knoxville and would have graduated in the spring of 2007. Channon’s life ambition was to help children in some way.
The Channon Christian Memorial Scholarship is presented to a Farragut High School senior female who is going to attend the University of Tennessee. Our hope is that this scholarship will help the recipient continue Channon’s dream of helping children.
This year will be the fourth year that the scholarship has been awarded. The scholarship amount this year from the CGC Foundation will be $5,000.
The first recipient of the scholarship will graduate from the University of Tennessee Knoxville at the spring 2012 commencement service.
